My husband and I attended the 4 hours barista training€ on one Saturday morning. There were only 4 of us, so the class size was just nice, which allowed the instructor, Youri to give full attention to everyone. It was a wonderful barista training experience. There were many cups of good quality coffee tasting (the coffee was the best we ever tried after living in Nottingham for few years), understanding the different types of coffee, gained knowledge of roasting, grinding, dosage, temperature, extraction time, milk steaming & all the factors attribute to a perfect cup of coffee. Youri had shown us how to create beautiful latte arts design eg tulip, bear, swans. We got to practice this during the hands on coffee making session. Though I failed to create even a simple flower art, it was really interesting. Probably we should practice longer and make more cups of coffee. Youri was a great instructor. The learning environment was relaxed and friendly. The hands on session was really exciting and fun. Youri had given us a lot of guidance. How we wish we have a coffee machine at home now to practice all the skills learnt. Practice makes perfect! Thank you,€“ Evelyn and Chee.

I completed the coffee roasting course with Youri and thoroughly enjoyed and appreciate the complexities of roasting, our discussions have certainly given me a great deal of food for thought regarding starting my own business - John

Yesterday 14/06/14 My son and I travelled from Derby to Bradford in order to learn and experience the delights of making decent coffee rather than taking a lid off a jar of a common instant brand. We were greeted by Youri in a friendly informal way, making us feel very comfortable from the beginning. Not long after we were joined by two others. None of us were in the sense business people regarding coffee, just coffee loving drinkers we just wanted to get the best out of coffee. Youri undoubtedly had so much information regarding the world of coffee from seed planting to the final pouring which he made look so easy. All our questions were answered comprehensively but in a way we could comfortably understand. The environment was fresh, spacious very clean, tidy and very organised (well it was until we started using it) The fridge was well stocked with milk (just as well) Youri certainly educated me for the better re coffee and all the variables from buying, storage, grinding, dosage, brewing and pouring that can disappoint or make great coffee. It was a relaxed yet fascinating course with no shortage of fun and would most certainly recommend it even if you don't like coffee because Youri makes an awesome hot chocolate which I will be doing for my little granddaughters. I attended the "How To Start A Coffee Shop (theory only)" course this morning and it was everything the website promises and more. Before today, I felt deflated and unsure if I was truly able to follow through on my dream, but Youri broke down even the most complicated concepts into simple, easy-to-understand, bitesize pieces of information. I'm quite shy so I didn't ask many questions, yet he seemed to know exactly when I required further explanation. Now I feel more motivated and focussed than I've ever been, and the Limini team also offer ongoing support and guidance after the course is over which is an added bonus! :) Beyond the course itself, the entire team was very friendly and made me feel right at home from the moment I stepped through the door. It was an invaluable experience which I highly recommend to anybody even thinking about venturing down the coffee shop path. Thanks guys! x - Nade

I attended the How to start a coffee shop course today with Ruth and it was brilliant. I enjoyed every part of it. I was a total novice at the beginning of the day and now feel extremely confident both for the barista part and the business part. I strongly recommend this course for anyone considering opening up a coffee shop as it really helps you understand everything you need to know and do for your business. Thanks for a great day! Lydia

I attended the Barista Training Course today with two of my co-workers to refine our skills as, so far, makeshift, self-taught baristas. We left today with a totally improved understanding of the geeky side of coffee - the science behind a really good brew! Our initial idea of coffee-making on a professional machine was so limited, regardless of having worked with one in our workplace for over a year and we had no idea what a difference a few tweaks and improvements to our current habits could make. Ruth made the experience incredibly fun, quirky, interactive and productive - she was so thorough in helping us to understand the process. The coffee was incredible - her Mocha was to die for - and we can't wait to return to work and surprise our customers with some much improved coffee. It was an incredibly friendly and welcoming environment and I feel encouraged to return for another course in the future. Thank you Limini Coffee!! - Sophie

I was so looking forward to this course and I wasn't disappointed! I absolutely loved every minute of it. The coffee has such a smooth, creamy taste that I drank loads and I don't normally drink coffee! I learnt so much and was surprised to find there was more helpful information than I first thought! I did the advanced barista course, under the guidance of Ruth and Youri. I have to say I still cannot believe just how much I learnt. Not only will I be making much better coffees, I have a greater understanding of why and what can influence coffee. the course has given me a lot more confidence to train staff further and develop my own career. Toni and I were privileged enough to have Youri visit our little coffee shop to train us how to serve and perfect our coffee making skills. He is so passionate in what he does and so helpful, how could we not be even more excited about good coffee. Youri made us feel totally at ease and gave us confidence in what we were doing. He did a small amount of tweeking on the grinder helped the taste and look of the coffee become even greater and it was already fabulous. It's a joy to be taught by someone who is so passionate about what they do. Our customers have made so many positive comments and they just keep coming. The customer service from all the staff I have spoken to has been excellent and so friendly. We just attended the " How to start a coffee shop training course" at Limini Training Centre and would recommend anyone thinking of running a coffee shop or already is running one to attend. We had one to one training with Ruth with Youri on hand at all times, we enjoyed the whole day. It was very informal, fun and we learnt a lot.
