We'€™ve had a dream of opening our own coffee shop for a couple of years & our day with Ruth at Limini was our first step. We were made to feel very welcome right from the start. We spent a most interesting morning looking in fine detail at the business side of starting a coffee shop, covering everything from tax, margins & even floor layout. This was followed by a wonderful afternoon making many different coffees on Limini'€™s gorgeous La Spaziale machine. A little daunting at first but plenty of hands on experience soon got us feeling a lot more confident. We had a great day, it all came & went too quickly. But we a€™re very happy to have left with a wealth of tools to help us with our new business venture (we feel much better prepared now). And we look forward to returning to Limini to add even more to our skills & knowledge. Thank you Ruth :-)

Having been on the receiving end of training courses for most of my working life, I can confidently say that this was one of the very best! Youri is an excellent trainer, imparting a huge amount of knowledge in an easily assimilable style, in well equipped surroundings with exactly the right amount of "hands on" work. This has enhanced my love for coffee and saved me from making some very expensive mistakes in buying new equipment. The online manual is invaluable and I hope to be back for the advanced course before too long! Thank you Youri for a special afternoon. Douglas

Thanks for the barista training yesterday from all of us at Cartwright's Coffee. Ruth was a great trainer, very knowledgeable, and great fun. We will definitely be back for some latte art training soon! We would recommend the barista training for anyone new to coffee, or with some experience, you will still get plenty from the course. Myself and my husband had a fantastic day at Limini. Ruth, our teacher, was absolutely brilliant and she certainly knew her coffees! We loved making our own different types of coffee, although we do need a bit more practice! The setting up a coffee shop theoretical part of the course was very helpful and informative as well. It definitely has given us plenty to think about. Overall, we would highly recommend this course and you won't be disappointed. Well done to all the staff there too. Keep up the outstanding work! This is a fantastic course, I was made welcome from the very first day of contact at Limini. I spoke to Laura in the office and she was so friendly and contacted my employer to sort out payment and date of my course (she could have left it for me to sort but she dealt with everything for me) and thank you Laura for sorting my dinner too on the day of my course. Ruth my teacher welcomed me from the moment I stepped in the door and spent the day teaching me. She knows her stuff inside and out and she is very passionate about her job and coffee. I didn't have a clue about coffee when I started my day course, I left with a certificate from my Barista training and I wouldn't have got it without Ruth's hard work and patients and love of coffee.
