The course was excellent. Our trainer Ruth and Vicky were experts- they really knew their stuff. Ruth led the training. She had a fantastic teaching style and allowed us to ask any burning questions and was very informative and passionate about coffee. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the practical side of the course. Ruth was really enthusiastic about coffee and business and until I went on the course for me coffee was just a drink....now I really have my geek on for coffee! I hadn't realised how technical a good Barista needs to be and now that I've rediscovered good coffee, I'm sold on the idea of running my own shop. With all the useful real world tips Ruth was able to give me from her own experience, the course materials and real examples I now feel I am much closer to opening my own coffee shop. The Limini Coffee course has been really fantastic! I was trained by Ruth, who was absolutely great! You can immediately see how passionate she is about what's she 's doing, and about coffee! She began by asking me what I want to do and why I am attending the course. She has taken time to understand my need to make sure that what she'll offer in terms of skills and knowledge is really useful for me. She did not just give the course because she had to, but because she really wanted to help me. The course offers very valuable (basic) knowledge, for people who have very limited idea about opening a new business. It is divided into 2 parts, one being theoretical and the other being practical. There are so many details we could not go over for the sake of time, but everything is provided in the package offered at the end of the course. I would say if you're thinking about opening your coffee shop, and don't know where to go, Limini Coffee is the best place to start with. Just do it! Book yourself, and go! There are lots of things to do afterwards, and you have to know it's a long journey to ensure you're successful in your business. But you get to feel really satisfied at the end of the course. What a great day. Really helpful to learn what goes to making great coffee and it was fun too. A definite must training course for anyone who loves good coffee or every wants to work with coffee.
