I felt the day went really well as my trainer Luke was prepared and tailored the training around what I needed for my business, in this industry which is new to me. It was also fun as I got to learn about the coffee machines and especially how to make coffee with the fancy/decorative images in the coffee drinks. Yes, I was excited, lol. Thank you Luke and team for such a productive and fun day of learning. - Lillian

I cannot recommend this course enough. Having a brief knowledge and massive love of coffee I was definitely excited and eager coming into the course, but it exceeded all of my expectations. Vicki was absolutely wonderful, her in depth knowledge of coffee and running a business was so helpful and interesting. The two days flew by, and whilst very tiring, were incredibly informative and rewarding. The premises were easy to find and so well decorated, the range of appliances and machines to try was very impressive. We were also fed delicious lunches on both days, as well as endless amounts of the highest quality coffee imaginable! We cannot thank Vicki and the rest of the team at Limini enough, for transferring their vast amounts of knowledge to us and answering all of our ridiculous questions. What an amazing afternoon we had. The best money I have spent in a long time. Vicki you were brilliant. Full of knowledge and a love of coffee that it was a joy to spend the afternoon learning from you. We may only be home users, but we love good coffee. We now know more about coffee and the making of it, which will only enhance our pleasure. Learning how to create the milk art was such fun and a bit of healthy competition between me and hubby only added to the pleasure. Oh, and lets not forget the hot chocolate. An amazing way to finish the session. Also, thank you to everyone I spoke to and dealt with at Limini. Everyone was so helpful I wish all companies had the same level of customer service, the world would turn a lot easier. I am sure we will be ordering more coffee and hot chocolate from you and may even be back for more training in the future. We attended the day-long 'how to start a coffee shop' course with our trainer Vicki. Our reason for taking the course is because we are planning to open a shop in our home town and needed to know where to start and what to think about. Vicki was really great and talked us through a lot of important things that we hadn't even considered. Rather than putting us off, it has made us more confident we can realise our dream and create a the business we want. The coffee making side of the course is also super helpful and fun too! We are looking forward to the work ahead and really feel that this course is a must for anyone in our position. It was a great refresher after the Barista course I did about 18 months ago. Luke corrected some of the bad habits I had inadvertently picked up and this has resulted in my coffees turning out better. I'd recommend the course for anyone that wants to improve their techniques and also get a better understanding of the inner workings of the machines so as to be able to optimise their performance. As it was a 1 to 1 course I found I could spend more time on the areas I needed to brush up on, and ask Luke as many questions as I wanted, without feeling I was wasting other people's time. - Wendy

Coming to your course has made Sean and I very confident in taking over our new business. We were absolutely blown away with all the information and help Vicky gave us regarding the VAT, spreadsheets and all the valuable information that we talked about all the way home. I absolutely love coffee but have had some not so nice coffee over the last few years. That has made me only ever get half a shot wherever I go. I was so suprised over the last two days how I drank coffee with 2 shots. Really Beautiful coffee, amazing !!. Vicky was so lovely, the time went really quickly and we learnt all kinds of things. The course was absolutely fantastic. Luke was very passionate, which always helps to keep a student in the right mood for learning, and he was also very patient. This experience has really helped me solidify this idea that I have had for almost a decade. Before, not knowing where to start always kept the project in the some day area, but Luke's thorough explanation about everything that implies setting up a shop has really triggered all the right feelings and I feel more motivated than ever before. All the spreadsheets and business-plans are invaluable tools to start my research and make sure my plan is going on the right direction before actually making the financial invetment.
