My partner and myself went on the two day course last week. We were being personally looked after by Luke. He was fantastic, very professional with an excellent training persona. He was able to specifically tailor the two days to the level we are at on our business journey. The numbers side was also very informative as well as our numerous attempts to creating perfect coffee art. The 'how to start a coffee shop' course was thorough, well organised and professional. Luke, our trainer, was friendly, knowledgeable and answered all of our questions meticulously, as well as catering the day towards our needs and tastes. I feel as though I am much more prepared and motivated after the course, and a lot more clued up on what it takes to start a business. Limini Coffee are generous with the information and materials used during the course, meaning they provide support not only on the day but afterwards too. The location was attractive, and conducive to learning. The course itself was well broken up between making coffee and the business side, which was helpful in terms of the risk of being oversaturated with information. Thank you for an amazing and hugely informative two days. Luke, our trainer was absolutely outstanding both in his barista skills and his business knowledge. His training skills and style are exceptional and he flexed intuitively to our needs as a group and as individuals. The facilities and the set-up at Limini is A1. I cannot recommend this course enough and it really is everything you need to know about opening and running a coffee shop, plus getting you well on the road to developing your barista skills. I felt the day went really well as my trainer Luke was prepared and tailored the training around what I needed for my business, in this industry which is new to me. It was also fun as I got to learn about the coffee machines and especially how to make coffee with the fancy/decorative images in the coffee drinks. Yes, I was excited, lol. I cannot recommend this course enough. Having a brief knowledge and massive love of coffee I was definitely excited and eager coming into the course, but it exceeded all of my expectations. Vicki was absolutely wonderful, her in depth knowledge of coffee and running a business was so helpful and interesting. The two days flew by, and whilst very tiring, were incredibly informative and rewarding. The premises were easy to find and so well decorated, the range of appliances and machines to try was very impressive. We were also fed delicious lunches on both days, as well as endless amounts of the highest quality coffee imaginable! We cannot thank Vicki and the rest of the team at Limini enough, for transferring their vast amounts of knowledge to us and answering all of our ridiculous questions. What an amazing afternoon we had. The best money I have spent in a long time. Vicki you were brilliant. Full of knowledge and a love of coffee that it was a joy to spend the afternoon learning from you. We may only be home users, but we love good coffee. We now know more about coffee and the making of it, which will only enhance our pleasure. Learning how to create the milk art was such fun and a bit of healthy competition between me and hubby only added to the pleasure. Oh, and lets not forget the hot chocolate. An amazing way to finish the session. Also, thank you to everyone I spoke to and dealt with at Limini. Everyone was so helpful I wish all companies had the same level of customer service, the world would turn a lot easier. I am sure we will be ordering more coffee and hot chocolate from you and may even be back for more training in the future.
