I attended the course with Tim last Saturday. It was fabulous!! I learned more than I expected - from the origins of coffee beans to coffee making and Latte Art! So nice that Tim called me days earlier to know my expectation so I learned what I would like to learn. I was so lucky that turned out I could have a 1-1 Latte Art training. It was a marvelous afternoon, an enjoyable one. Highly recommended! - Grace

A brilliant afternoon of Barista training that cannot be faulted! As a total newbie, the trainer was able to accommodate the lowest level of knowledge and build upon this to assist the trainee to produce a solid foundation to provide the fundamentals to producing the perfect coffee. Nothing is too much trouble for the trainer to provide both the direction and guidance on any knowledge gaps that you may have and he is able to provide all of the key ingredients for a fun and informative session; no question is too stupid for him to answer sensibly and it is all reinforced with continual practice until you are able to get it right. Without doubt, the course is essential for both commercial and home users alike to provide a stunning base to produce a product that you can be proud to serve as a business or at home. Wow! My expectations were not only surpassed, they were well & truly blown out of the water during Youri's fantastic one day course... I had no idea there was so much I didn't know about making a cup of coffee... let alone, the coffee bean (sorry, seed...) to cup process and the economics of the coffee shop industry... I was genuinely impressed, enthralled, enthused and amazed by a fantastic day of hands-on learning, in Youri's professional hands. I heartily recommend this course to anyone who's ever dreamed of running a coffee shop... or, anyone who just loves coffee and wants to make the perfect cup... What a super experience. We both had great fun on the day and found that it opened our eyes to how good coffee can actually taste. I'm a bit of a home coffee enthusiast so this was the perfect way for me to develop my coffee making skills. The one-on-one training was excellent and opened up a whole new world for me in the art of grinding coffee and frothing the milk. I even got to take my own (rather primitive!) coffee machine with me to practice on. 2 days later and my coffee making skills have already improved considerably! You don't need to own a coffee shop to get the best from this course, I would highly recommend it to anyone who just loves to make a good coffee at home. Thanks Tim :-) - Karl

As an architect with a mad-cap idea to open a coffee shop, I arrived at Limini only knowing a few bits that I had read about on-line. Being short of time, I took the "one on one" one day course. Youri took great care to explain the background information regarding coffee production and trading, roasting and making. He had no problem in answering my ridiculous questions and was very patient as I overfrothed milk and over-filled cups. The hands-on approach meant I could try again and again, and by the end of my sessions I was making a few cups of saleable coffee. I can't wait to make my next! Youri was also able to review my cafe plans in order to benefit from his wealth of experience. This alone was worth the fee. Thanks Youri and Sam. You will be hearing more from vivID lounge for sure! Hi Youri, Thank you for a thoroughly enjoyable and most informative day on Friday ! The wonders of good coffee is so true, I have never tasted coffee like that in my life and I now crave to taste them flavours again. I was out today and bought a cappucinno in a cafe, it wasn't a cappuccino, it was a cup of foam that didnt even have a hint of coffee in it..... I was hard to please and all too regularly felt dissapointed by the coffees I pay 2-3 pound for in shops, now I am worried as I am going to be even harder to please because you have given me a taster of what proper coffee should taste like! The course was an experience that I thoroughly enjoyed and not only the informative coffee facts but the practical hands on barista tuition provided. Most of the information has stuck and I have already checked out the support link which looks great too, I just hope to develop my knowledge and barista skills further in the future and enjoy the pleasures a great brew can provide for many years to come. If my plans come to fruition I will certainly call you up for the 2 day course! Thanks again, Steven
