Using the basic skills which Youri teaches, I can now make coffee using only a little domestic espresso machine that is way better than any of the big chains. Hi, I went onto this course with absolutely no experience or training. The trainer, Youri, is class A*, and at the end of the full day course, I was able to make such perfect coffees with the most delightful latte art creations. This is far best the most valuable training I have ever participated on, and I would strongy recommend that anyone who is serious about learning how to make perfect coffees, also participates on this course. Please don't go elsewhere, as this course was well worth the money. I am just gutted that the day came to an end, but now I have got my husband interested, he is next to go on it when I buy him a Christmas gift voucher to go on it. Considering we have been together over 17 years, I can assure you that it will most certainly be the best present that I have bought him, and that he will love me forever. The coffees are delicious, and are to die for. I cannot praise the trainer enough. His skill and professionalism is out of this world. I thank you from the bottom of my heart, for training this old dog new tricks, and giving me the confidence to believe that I can achieve my dream of opening up my own coffee shop, and becoming a success to be proud of. The course was an 'eye opener' in terms of what coffee is ALL about and what I need to think about in terms of the business side of setting up a coffee shop. Truly a valuable 2 days and worth every penny if not more. Youri seemed very experienced in all the areas we covered and I truly recommend this course for anyone thinking of starting a new business or simply IN LOVE with coffee. Fabulous. A great course and a must to attend if you are considering setting up a coffee shop, no matter what stage you are at with your business plan. There was a good mix of practical, hands-on learning how to make great coffee not only taste, but look good too, as well as discussion and exercises to crystalise the business and finance side of things, including correctly calculating margins, the best layout etc. I also learnt a lot from the others on my course, and hope they learnt something from me. I came away from the course even more motivated to set up my coffee shop, and much better equipped to do so, and make it a success. Youri was a fantastic tutor, and was able to share his experience in a way that was easily learnt and understood, and his passion for good coffee was obvious. This said, his business acumen was also invaluable. Thanks for the two days - they went really quickly, and were very beneficial. Jason

I had a great day's basic Barista training at Limini Coffee! No boring lectures or hours of theory! As the world's slowest learner in anything of a practical nature, I couldn't believe I was making great cappuccinos within the first 30 minutes and while my latte art was not the beautiful ferns and teddy bears that Youri skilfully produced, I did create a fair approximation of a heart and some lovely accidental tulips, that even I would have been impressed with if I had bought them in a coffee shop If you are not doing this course for business reasons, or employment prospects, then do it for fun!. Youri is an excellent teacher, funny but thorough, and makes the four hours fly by. Even the serious stuff, such as the origins of the bean, the different grinds of coffee, and the proper cleaning of the machine was interesting. As novices to the coffee business, we thoroughly enjoyed our two days learning not only how to produce great coffee, but also receiving a good grounding and useful tips on how to start our own coffee shop. I would like to thank Youri for a great barista coffee training course it was fun and enjoyable the day just flew by,it was also the best coffee I have ever tasted Youri has a great teaching style and made it fun, I would recommend to do this course to anyone i have been using a barista for over a year Youri teached me so much more about coffee and how to improve the standard of the drinks we produce. it has been a great help to me in many ways and I learnt so much on how to make a great coffee and how to teach my students to do so.
