My business partner and myself recently attended the 2-on-1 'How to Start a Coffee Shop' day course with Stuart. The day was very informative but relaxed and fun at the same time. Stuart really knows his stuff about coffee and the industry and it was great to spend the day with such a passionate and enthusiastic individual. The day was very well organised and well structured between the theory and practical side of the course. Over the day you get to learn to make (and drink) lots of different coffees, learn all about the equipment, grinders & beans as well as practise some latte art. The rest of the day was extremely informative and we where able discuss and ask lots of questions regarding the financial side of running a coffee shop business. We both left the day feeling so much more confident & prepared to start our own speciality coffee shop in London. Massive thumbs up to Stuart and the rest of the Limini team for offering such a great course plus all the after course support. What can I say apart from firstly a big thank you to Stuart for his expert guidance, help and patience. And secondly, I went on the course only being able to make a mediocre coffee at home but WOW what a difference a day makes, I have learnt so much about many different aspects of coffee, a first class course and lots of useful information. Brilliant course. Very enjoyable. Four hours definitely well spent. I learnt without a doubt that choosing the right coffee and using the correct techniques and machines will lead to success. I really enjoyed my Home Barista course yesterday afternoon. Stu is a very skilful teacher; patient, knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and concerned to focus on my own specific concerns and questions, and not simply give a standard talk. He seemed to teach each person in the room at their own level (and I was the least knowledgeable by far!), and yet also draw us together as well so we could learn from each other too. I feel I learned lots, and am much more confident about making coffee now; but still aware there is much more to learn, and that I can learn it at Limini. Highly recommended. - Ian

I recently attended the "start a coffee shop" course. The staff at Limini were warm and welcoming, the course was well structured and the pace appropriate. There were two other people on the course and it was great to be able to share experiences as well as bounce ideas off each other. There was always time for questions, the discussions were informative and the coffee making sessions were fun. I really enjoyed the two days at Limini. We went on the How to start a coffee shop course. It was a very informative course that literally taught us everything we wanted to know.Learning how to make coffee was extremely fun. We had no idea of making coffee before the course but now we have come away with some great knowledge. I would recommend this course to anyone wanting to open a coffee shop. The team at Limini were great and the in depth knowledge they have is remarkable. Everything was covered from the business side to the practical aspect of preparing different coffee and chocolate.
