This is a really great course, and I would recommend it to anyone thinking about starting up their own coffee shop. You can learn a lot from your own reading, research and experiences, but you get a whole lot more from Limini. Stuart is a very friendly and professional trainer who clearly loves coffee and working with and helping people. The hands on experience of working the machines and making great coffee was invaluable and lots of fun. I am glad too that I went on a course with 3 other adventurers - you can learn a lot from your fellow participants too. Thank you, Stuart and Youri. - Alistair

I thought the How to Start a Coffee Shop course was excellent. It was well paced, suited to our needs (we booked a 2-on-1 with Stuart) and we left with the knowledge and reassurance needed to go on and set up our venture. I though the ready-made spreadsheets for planning and financial control were perfect for our needs - easy to understand but thorough and very useful at our business planning stage. Stuart was a very knowledgeable and professional trainer. His passion for the coffee business shone through and inspired us even further. I couldn't recommend the course highly enough. - Brendan

I would highly recommend the coffeeshop course for any start up business regardless of what how much experience you have or research you have previously done. It highlighted some flaws in my existing plan whilst equipping me with an in depth knowledge of the industry, especially the financials. Me and my partner had recently returned from travelling, and whilst away visiting these wonderful places we realised how excited we got about coffee, but knew nothing about it. We researched and come up with the idea of owning our own coffee shop, but we were questioning ourselves, could we do this? Could we afford this? Could we learn enough to make this happen? We came across Limini coffee, and read all the amazing reviews. We had ones closer to home but they didn’t come close to Liminis reviews. My Dad came along too, he kept an open mind but came to see if he would be willing to invest in us and a coffee house from the information we would receive. All three of us were completely overwhelmed to how much we learned over the 2 day course with Stuart and Youri. They are completely passionate with what they do and it’s refreshing to see. Stuart was our main teacher for the 2 days, and he was very patient with us. It was a brilliant mix with the coffee making and practical side of things to the business side of things. The room was brilliantly set up, so clean, fresh and easy to use. We never knew how difficult it was to actually make a proper€™ cup of coffee. We loved the learning and tasting, grinding and even ROASTING our own coffee!! We can easily say now, esp with the continuing on going support from Limini Coffee, we could confidently follow our dream and open our own coffee shop (along with my Dads investment alsoŠ) Thank you Youri, Stu and the whole team, and continue doing what you do best! - Deanna, Mike & Richard

My initial thoughts when setting up my coffee shop was do I really need to go on a course and what have I got to gain? Having spent the day at Limini with Stuart, Youri and Bex I came away feeling not just equipped to start the business but I now feel I have the ongoing support of a great team who are always at the end of the phone or email. It is hard to put into words just how much I learned but I now look at coffee and coffee making in a whole new light. The great service not only ends after the course but having ordered supplies and equipment I have been delighted with the excellent service and support I have been given. Thank you! - Guy

I recently did the How to start our coffee shop, and booked a 121 with Stuart. What a fantastic day! Firstly, the training room is amazing. Its relaxing, comfortable, like walking into a coffee shop/kitchen. Stuart is a total star and really patient! He had a great balance between the coffee making, which I loved and the business side of opening a shop. I didn't really know where to start on all this so I was abit all over the place, but Stu took control and took me through the basics on how things run and what needs to be done. I have loads more questions that didn't come to me on the day, so sorry guys, I'm gonna be emailing you! But I know they will be there for me as they are very supportive and the day isn't all that they give. Further support is offered which really gives me the confidence to know that I'm not quite alone! Am booking the Barista course shortly! - Amanda

My sister and I did the 2-on-1 course with Youri; it really was fantastic. Going in we had a bit of an idea of what we were wanting to do but we didn't really know how to go about it all. We went in with an whole page worth of questions we wanted to cover and by the end of the day, I think we only had one question that had not already been covered. Youri is a fantastic teacher and he really struck the balance between the business theory side and the practical coffee making. I have to say, before going into the course, I'd never really thought all that much about what goes into a good cup of coffee, and after having tried and made a substantial amount of coffee on the day, I can honestly say I've never had anything like it before! All the coffees we had were absolutely gorgeous and you can really tell that as a company, everybody at Limini are very passionate about what they do. I will admit that I was slightly nervous about getting hands on and making coffee (I hadn't really done anything like that before) but Youri was so helpful and patient and within no time my sister and I were busy making our own variety of coffees (I even got to roast my own blend!) complete with latte art! This course was fantastic. We went in there knowing virtually nothing about coffee and had a limited idea of what we needed to do to start our business. We walked out feeling a lot more confident that this is something we can do and are now on with getting our business plan up to scratch (with the help of the online package included in the course).To anyone who is looking at taking a coffee course, whether it be for starting your own business or learning how to make the perfect coffee, I would definitely recommend you go to Limini. We booked onto a 2 to 1 coffee shop course with Stuart, we had read the previous reviews and the course content before we booked but you really don't know what it's going to be like. Stuart made us feel at ease from the start, he is very passionate about coffee and very informative. Gave us some great ideas on layout and prices for selling cakes and simplified the profit and loss spreadsheet. He made the latte art look very easy, we need more practice... The course did what it said on the tin "how to start a coffee shop" great full day of information, even roasted a unique blend of beans. Just need to find a shop now. Cheers Bev & Chris

We did the 2-on-1 course with Stuart and it was absolutely amazing. Going in we had as much as a vision, now we have a shop. Stuart was great, he explained everything so well and gave us some great ideas. With the package we are able to make our business plan and we are now well on our way to getting our shop of the ground.
