Thoroughly enjoyed this course , our tutor was youri who made us feel very at ease. We had a full day covering barista and latte art training . I attended Limini "Two-day How To Start A Coffee Shop" course with my mum, and we could not have had a better time. After dreaming of changing careers for many years and not knowing where to begin, this course was the best thing I could have done. Everyone was incredibly welcoming and we were made to feel at home straightaway. Youri our trainer (and owner of Limini) was fantastic: informative, approachable, funny and incredibly knowledgeable. He patiently and tactfully answered all our questions and quietly reassured us when we got in a pickle with the financial bits! His passion for coffee rubbed off on both of us and we went home talking about coffee beans to anyone who might listen! Opening a coffee shop has been just a dream for years but now I feel like it is something that IS achievable with Youri's help. The course and the really comprehensive support manual have given me so much more confidence, and I'm well on the way to writing my business plan! I would recommend this course to anyone who has an interest in coffee and I will definitely be going back for a refresher course before I eventually open my business! - Jessica and Julie

I had an amazing day's barista training with Vicki. As a novice, I learned so much about the whole coffee journey, how to use different machines and how to make every coffee based drink you could possibly think of. The latte art element of the course was really cool too. Vicki was really generous with her advice and was happy to offer ideas and suggestions about elements of our new business that we hadn't thought of. It was great to meet Youri, too, who seems to know everything there is to know about coffee and was also really helpful and supportive! Going forward, we're really excited about working with Limini as their expertise, friendliness and professionalism are second to none. Oh and their coffee is awesome - you must try it! - Ross Young

I was given a La Pavoni Europiccola coffee maker and have had some success but wanted to be able to make truly excellent coffee so thought I would treat my self to the 3hr Barista course. Vicki took the course and she is brilliant. There were only two of us and she took us through so much stuff that my head is now spinning. But: I can go home and will be able to tell the difference between a good espresso and a bad and will be able to tell where the flavours in my shots are coming from. We covered a bit of latte art, lets just say I have a lot to learn in this area. We made soooooo much coffee in so many different styles. I would totally recommend this course if you want to make a great cuppa, it is awesome. The teaching was not specific to my machine but every skill was presented in such a way as to be fully transferable. I had the best couple of days with Limini for their coffee shop course - they're incredibly friendly and welcoming and of course the coffee is outstanding. The amount of detail in the course was huge and their knowledge is both impressive and reassuring. Vicki was a great trainer and really fun to be with for the two days. I loved learning all about coffee and especially the latte art! I would definitely recommend the course to anyone considering it - or even a visit to them for the coffee and some barista training. A really fantastic day. I had no idea there was quite so much to coffee. Amazed at the number of variables go into making the perfect coffee but Youri explained everything and particularly enjoyed learning from someone so clearly passionate about coffee and teaching too. I tasted the best coffee I think I've ever had and now need feel totally inspired to recreate that myself at home. Would recommend to anyone who wants to learn how to make and taste the best coffee possible! Jon
