The course was really helpful and I learnt how to texture milk more consistently than I have been able to at home. The difference in the smoothness of the milk compared to what I have been achieving was most noticeable. The latte art was more tricky but thanks to Vickey's patience and knowledge, and copious amounts of milk and coffee to practice with, I'm far more confident of being able to create interesting art in the future. The course was very interactive and informative. Small groups mean that you get plenty of individual assistance and have the chance to ask plenty of questions. The course is taught in a fun way with the odd challenge thrown in. You can definitely achieve your goal of making an excellent coffee after completing the course. Daniel

Everything you need to know about coffee and how to set-up an independent shop; it's all there at Limini Coffee. We were very fortunate to meet and work with Vicki for two days; her passion for coffee and her genuine enthusiasm towards helping us make our project a success was apparent from the outset. Vicki is a natural teacher and her ability to impart knowledge and expertise was both entertaining and to the point. A big thank you to Vicki, Tom and all of the team. I attended the 'How to start a coffee shop' one day course with a friend a few weeks ago and we both really enjoyed the day. Not only did we learn loads, we had a lot of fun too! From the moment we walked through the door we was laughing. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The training was made to suit our needs and we've come away with so much useful information. Opening a coffee shop has been a dream of ours for quite a while now and since attending the course, we are even more excited to make this happen. Excellent courses, loads of skills and knowledge shared. I took the barista and latte art half days. If you've never handled a coffee machine before then these courses are a must for you. You'll learn how to make coffee, actual coffee - most likely you'll be making coffee better than your local cafe by the end of the day. I highly recommend these guys. Andrew Taylor

I have attended more than one coffee shop course and believe it a must for any budding coffee shop owners. These courses teach you so many things you will not have thought about which could cost you extra time & money. However if you should choose just one course, I recommend Limini Coffee. You receive a whole day of one to one training & advise from Youri, which enables you to ask lots of specific questions based on your business model. You leave the course with a coffee shop support pack full of information & material, which contains very detailed spread sheets to help with costings both of products and build. I attended Limini "Two-day How To Start A Coffee Shop" course with my mum, and we could not have had a better time. After dreaming of changing careers for many years and not knowing where to begin, this course was the best thing I could have done. Everyone was incredibly welcoming and we were made to feel at home straightaway. Youri our trainer (and owner of Limini) was fantastic: informative, approachable, funny and incredibly knowledgeable. He patiently and tactfully answered all our questions and quietly reassured us when we got in a pickle with the financial bits! His passion for coffee rubbed off on both of us and we went home talking about coffee beans to anyone who might listen! Opening a coffee shop has been just a dream for years but now I feel like it is something that IS achievable with Youri's help. The course and the really comprehensive support manual have given me so much more confidence, and I'm well on the way to writing my business plan! I had an amazing day's barista training with Vicki. As a novice, I learned so much about the whole coffee journey, how to use different machines and how to make every coffee based drink you could possibly think of. The latte art element of the course was really cool too. Vicki was really generous with her advice and was happy to offer ideas and suggestions about elements of our new business that we hadn't thought of. It was great to meet Youri, too, who seems to know everything there is to know about coffee and was also really helpful and supportive! Going forward, we're really excited about working with Limini as their expertise, friendliness and professionalism are second to none. Oh and their coffee is awesome - you must try it! - Ross Young
