We attended the opening a coffee shop course and we are delighted with the knowledge that we received from the course. Our trainer Luke was professional, clearly very experienced and delivered the course in a very relaxed and enjoyable fashion. As we are in the very early stages of our path to open a coffee shop we went away wide eyed (with enthusiasm and overload of excellent coffee) and once up and running will hope to make further training with Limini. - Mark & Marianela

I cannot recommend Limini enough, especially Luke who gave me 1 2 1 latte art training. He was really thorough and took the time to teach me the whys of coffee, not just the hows of the milk. He was really positive and encouraging all the way through and I came out really pleased with what I've learnt. I would absolutely recommend Limini Coffee and will be taking another trip all the way from Sussex again for another course. Thank you! :-) - Kate Richings

I enjoyed a great training morning with Luke. He was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and skilful. The session was also fun, with many attempts, at last with success, to make more than decent coffee. Practice makes almost perfect. I rushed home to make more shots, with and without milk. Already producing better tasting coffe, with the same equipment. Many thanks Luke - Mike

This was a superb day of training - our trainer (Luke) was interested in us, our level of experience and our plans for the future, and adapted the training accordingly (e.g. cutting back the barista training to spend more time on the practicalities of setting up a viable business). We came away with a practical plan for setting up our coffee shop, loads of useful resources (e.g. demo business plans; spreadsheets for calculating all costs), and an appreciation of what makes a really good coffee. Our latte art left rather a lot to be desired, but we'll definitely be taking the Limini team up on further barista training when we're a bit closer to opening. We would really recommend this training team to anyone thinking of setting up a coffee shop. - Strings

Having worked with Limini for the past six months now, I honestly couldn't praise their efficiency, thoughtfulness and professionalism enough. Amidst the difficulty of setting up our first business, they have gone above and beyond to help us with everything from VAT queries and premises licences to coffee sourcing and roasting. We were also absolutely delighted with the training that Vicky provided to our new team of staff. She talked them through the basics of how to use a coffee machine all the way through to creating beautiful coffees with latte art. With Vicky, no question was a stupid question [even though i definitely asked my fair share] and she was incredibly friendly and supportive with the whole team. Having just completed our first week of trading, it is fair to say that we would not be where we are now without the help of Limini. You guys are awesome, keep up the good work! - Ross Young

I had a great morning with Vicki, she really opened my eyes to how much there really is to making good coffee. She was very passionate, knowledgeable and encouraging and I have come away excited to open up my cafe and hopefully do Limini justice by serving proper, good coffee!! I wouldn't hesitate to book my staff onto training here because I know their learning will be thorough and enjoyable. Thanks Vicki! X - Laura

I learned so much about coffee - how to get the best extraction, the value of a good grinder and how to prepare milk properly. My efforts at Late art were fairly poor but I've lots to practice at home. Thanks to Luke for being patient and for showing enthusiasm! The coffee I made was very drinkable. I'd recommend this course to anyone who is a keen home Coffee maker, it will not fail to improve what you make even if you don't end up making perfect patterns in the top of the coffee it will certainly result in a more acceptable drink. - Peter Brunskill I learned so much about coffee - how to get the best extraction, the value of a good grinder and how to prepare milk properly. Limini's How to Start a Coffee Shop Course came highly recommended, and did not disappoint. The course was set out brilliantly, mixing theory and practical. Vicky was fantastic and demonstrated a great adaptability to make sure that the day met my needs. I had a great time, and will be recommending it to anyone that is thinking of starting a coffee shop or just wants Barista training. Thank you - Paul

We attended the full day barista course that included the latte art skills. It was a thoroughly enjoyable day full of fantastic information and excellent tuition. Both of us had no idea just how much there was to making a good cup of coffee. We both left feeling we had learnt a huge amount about the subject and had the foundations to further develop the skills. If you looking to learn more about all aspects of coffee then we can't recommend this course enough! Thanks for a great day Luke, much appriciated! - Gavin and Kathryn

The Barista and Latte Art training day with Vicki and Luke at Limini Coffee was an amazing experience and much more than I anticipated. The course was a generous and highly enjoyable introduction to the art and science of coffee making. The opportunity to watch, listen, discuss and then have plenty of hands-on tuition was an excellent way to learn and improve. As well as the hands on practical side Vicki and Luke provided some very relevant and useful background information on the raw product from the bush to the cup. I learnt so much about how to make the perfect espresso and was captivated by all the nuances of coffee making, particularly the huge importance of the freshness of the coffee beans and grind, the tamping, the highs and lows of frothing and foaming milks and about how they can all change the quality of the final sweet tasting cup. A thoroughly enjoyable and fun surprise was practicing the subtle art of coffee tasting referred to as ‘cupping’. It was a delight to share in Vicki and Luke’ s infectious enthusiasm and passion for coffee and be guided to understand what it all means and how it should be done. I felt at ease with their approach and pace of tutoring and the generous knowledge they imparted enabled me to understand more about the world of coffee. The training itself was well paced and informative giving me ample time to practice the various techniques needed to produce the perfect espresso, textured milks and latte art for a whole variety of drinks. I came away feeling that I understood all the fundamentals of the equipment/machinery and steps required to achieve a high standard of varying coffee combinations. I was so inspired by what I learnt on the day, that I have since purchased a coffee grinder and am slowly putting into practice all the things they both taught so well and am having some very promising results. I have made quite a few changes to the way I have been making coffee with improved consistency and quality. Turning out great espressos with a good crema regularly. My knowledge has taken a significant step forward as well as the confidence to make the necessary adjustments to put things right. What they both shared with me has improved my coffee making no end and I have come to appreciate what good coffee should taste like and how it's made a whole lot more. Many thanks to you both for a thoroughly enjoyable and thought provoking Barista and Latte Art training day. I could not have asked for better training than I had at Limini Coffee. I found the course so interesting the time flew by and I found myself not wanting the day to end! The whole day from start to finish was great fun! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the course to anyone. Whether you want to learn how to upgrade your home brew to a sweet tasting golden nectar or are thinking of setting up your own coffee business. There is something on the course list for everyone who has an interest in coffee. To all those who agree that life's too short for bad coffee you need to do this course! - Parveen
