Four of us attended the 3 hour barista course and we would like to say a massive thank you Luke for a very informative and fun session. Luke instantly put us all at ease. His knowledge about the industry was second to none and he willingly shared his experiences with us. He was very patient and his teaching style was just right. Not only were we taught how to make the best coffee, Luke also taught me how to make a better cup of green tea and an amazing hot chocolate. Really pleased at the level of detail covered in the course, and especially the amount of resource you come away with to help you on your way! Luke was a great guy to be with and made the two days fun, as well as informative. Had plenty of time to make coffee and practise the latte art (which is not as easy as it looks) but also spent lots of time on other important topics such as leasing, layout, menu planning and lots of other topics you need to be fully aware of. We underwent our training with Luke on the 20th June and prior to the course were a little apprehensive in relation to how we would manage the course. Luke put us at ease and explained the technicalities of how to set up the grinder and preparing the coffee. We were then given really good demonstrations of producing various good quality coffees and chance to practice ourselves. I attended the 1 day course - it was great! Luke, was friendly and easygoing and extremely knowledgeable. The whole staff team were friendly and accommodating. I learned loads about coffee, what to do and what not to do and how to really give he customer the best customer service and all round great coffee experience. I also learned loads about the actual bones of running a coffee shop which gave me confidence that I am on the right lines and the fact that Limini are always there if I need more advice is a great comfort. Excellent course - opened my eyes to the technical side of producing quality coffee and the business knowledge required to set up and run a coffee shop. This course was one of the best that I have ever attended and it was full or great content. It changed my prospective on coffee altogether. Making coffee is absolutely an art and anyone thinking about starting a coffee shop or just wants to know how to make great coffee should definitely do this.
