The course was exceptional value for money. Luke our trainer clearly had a wealth of experience and knowledge at his fingertips and was able to provide the training at the perfect pace for us. The coffee was sensational - we had a coffee of our choice made for us on arrival and our first thoughts were we want to make a coffee this delicious! By the end of the course our coffees were tasting great and gave us so much confidence that with a bit of practice at home we could be making barista style coffees ourselves to a very high standard. We were looked after from the moment we stepped through the door and were made to feel very welcome. The passion our trainer Luke had for coffee and for the Limini business was an absolute pleasure to see and gave us a lot of confidence that Limini's is a fantastic business to work with. really we cannot commend the course enough, if we were to summarise in a few words we would say: 1) professional 2) engaging 3) educational 4) value for money. - Steve and Maria Daniels

Barista training with Limini Coffee was an excellent way to spend an afternoon, whether you have experience already or none. We were warmly welcomed and looked after by Luke who had excellent knowledge and people skills. We went right from the basics, to making espresso based drinks in just a few hours. The afternoon was really relaxed and you are made to feel at ease with all the equipment very quickly. I would highly recommend a visit, particularly if you have an interest in making and drinking good coffee, be ready for fun and lots of knowledge. I would absolutely go again, and the coffee tasting throughout the day is a sure winner. Super delicious coffee and very helpful and professional staff! Thankyou Limini Coffee! - Francesca

We had great Training session at Limini Coffee yesterday. There were 2 of us to 1 trainer. Luke (the trainer) provided us with some great training, we learnt so much. It was comprehensive, and Luke was clearly extremely knowledgeable and made the session fun as well as teaching us about coffee, equipment, preparation and producing some surprisingly good coffee given it was the first time I'd used a proper coffee machine . The equipment was first class and the tour of the coffee roasting process was really interesting. Luke answered any questions we had and we had lots of time to practice using the equipment. Four of us attended the 3 hour barista course and we would like to say a massive thank you Luke for a very informative and fun session. Luke instantly put us all at ease. His knowledge about the industry was second to none and he willingly shared his experiences with us. He was very patient and his teaching style was just right. Not only were we taught how to make the best coffee, Luke also taught me how to make a better cup of green tea and an amazing hot chocolate. Really pleased at the level of detail covered in the course, and especially the amount of resource you come away with to help you on your way! Luke was a great guy to be with and made the two days fun, as well as informative. Had plenty of time to make coffee and practise the latte art (which is not as easy as it looks) but also spent lots of time on other important topics such as leasing, layout, menu planning and lots of other topics you need to be fully aware of. I'd highly recommend this course to anyone thinking about taking the plunge! - Nick Redford

We underwent our training with Luke on the 20th June and prior to the course were a little apprehensive in relation to how we would manage the course. Luke put us at ease and explained the technicalities of how to set up the grinder and preparing the coffee. We were then given really good demonstrations of producing various good quality coffees and chance to practice ourselves. Luke was really patient and supportive of our questions and we would recommend this course to anyone wishing to serve first class coffee. - Don & Hilary Bickerton

I attended the 1 day course - it was great! Luke, was friendly and easygoing and extremely knowledgeable. The whole staff team were friendly and accommodating. I learned loads about coffee, what to do and what not to do and how to really give he customer the best customer service and all round great coffee experience. I also learned loads about the actual bones of running a coffee shop which gave me confidence that I am on the right lines and the fact that Limini are always there if I need more advice is a great comfort.
