I attended the one day 'How to start a coffee shop' course with my sister last week and it was everything I could have expected and more. Our mentor and trainer Vicki was excellent! I had a great time on the latte art course with Vicki. It was very informative and she made it really fun. I learnt lots of different latte art techniques for a range of coffees and I learnt how to make a few new drinks. I felt the course was really personalized to what I needed to improve on and I appreciated Vicki covering some of the coffee basics that I needed to brush up on! Brilliant! Im so glad I chose Limini to do my first bit of training. Having spent many years in the trade I now realise just how much I was getting wrong, certainly in terms of coffee making. I now feel enabled to make the highest quality coffee, consistently. There was such a wealth of information provided regarding the setting up of a cafe it'll take me quite a while to make my way throught it all. Ruth was friendly, relaxed and knowledgable. I really enjoyed the course and the coffee - despite not being a coffee drinker! Ruth went through the science behind making a good cup of coffee so I knew why I was doing what I was doing, which made it easier for me to remember what to do. The service and training I received was truly personal and I felt it was tailored to me at every stage. I love the idea that one day we could have a coffee blend and labelling that is exclusive to our business and it is really reassuring that I can return for some refresher training in the future to make sure I continue to consistently produce lovely coffee. Fantastic learning experience! After spending far too much time on the internet reading and watching how it should be done it was great to see everything done first hand by someone who actually knew what they were doing. A few months on my milk frothing has improved no end and I look forward to going back for the Latte Art course. As a bonus I got to drink lots of (mostly) coffee and left feeling slightly high after drinking more than I had ever during a morning, well it would be a shame to throw it away! This course is worth every penny - we had so many pre-conceived ideas on what we thought we would/could do with regards to our business and whilst Vicki and the team are amazing at building on that passion they also have the tools on hand to make you face up the reality of running your own business, the challenges, the costs - but equally how rewarding it would be too. I attended the Barista Training (3hr) course. I thought both the information given and the teaching style was excellent. Vicki, the trainer, was really friendly and very knowledgable and i felt had tailored the course to my level of ability. I gained loads of knowledge and got to play with a range of machines and used a number of different methods, not to mention having the option of drinking dozens of coffees (i highly recommend you don't try to drink them all!). All in all, an excellent course. I would be happy to recommend Limini to anyone thinking about doing any barista training. - Mike

Ali and I just wanted to email to say what a great day we had on Saturday. Youri, I know we had expressed our concerns to you, but we can confidently say they were unfounded. Vicki was absolutely EXCELLENT! We could not have hoped for a better trainer. The training was beyond our expectations. Vicky covered absolutely everything, and answered all our questions. She was extremely thorough and both Ali and I really learned a great deal, and had a great day. Vicki, thank you for a really excellent and memorable day! We were really impressed with your knowledge and enthusiasm. Thank you for staying late to ensure that every single item on the agenda was covered. We could tell that you did not want to miss anything out and wanted to make sure we were taught everything promised on your website. We really had a great time making the coffee, and again, as per your promise, by the end of the day we were able to make all of the coffees on your menu. To be honest, we both really miss the coffee making as we enjoyed it so much! Ali even said that we should get a commercial coffee machine at home! Youri, Vicki really is a credit to your company and we cannot speak highly enough about her and the training she delivered. She made it enjoyable, and even the areas we did not understand straight away, she was more than happy to go over again until we understood. We are so glad we came on the course as it has given us the confidence needed to move forward. We really enjoyed both the theory and coffee making. The coffee, by the way, was really good! I have never known Ali not to have sugar in his coffee! When Vicky told us initially that a good cup of coffee should be sweet, we were sceptical, but she was absolutely correct! We really did love the coffee blends we tried, and the hot chocolate was amazing too! Thank you again for giving us the knowledge and confidence to pursue our dreams!
