The barista training done by Youri was truly amazing. When I decided to do the training and planned the trip from India, I was a bit apprehensive on how it would turn out. But the training was truly worth it and I learned many things about coffee I never knew before. That's the best thing about Youri's training -- he shares all the interesting tips about brewing coffee, grinding the beans, and how the perfect cuppa should be, and all these tips are valuable pieces of info. If like me you love coffee but can't seem to make it as good as the proffesionals then this is the course for you. This was really hands on and my head was buzzing with amount i've learn't, I can't believe the quality of shots I was pulling by the end.Youri is a brilliant teacher, he made sure he demonstrated and explained every stage of the techniques he taught us and made sure we really got it. I brought my Gaggia Classic with me which gave me an opportunity to compare coffee made from my own machine against those used by the pro's and I found that I could put together a quality Latte.This was a brilliant way to spend a birthday.Many Thanks Youri If like me you love coffee but can't seem to make it as good as the proffesionals then this is the course for you. A wonderful course, explained in easy to understand terms. This is a great way to learn how to pour the perfect cup of coffee and learn an understanding of how the bean is grown, harvested and ultimately makes it to the cup. Lee Taylor

Youri is very knowledgeable and passionate about coffee. The course is dense and packed with a lot of practical issues about how to make a good coffee and lots of hands on practice.I would highly recommend this course to understand the basics about coffee beans, all the practical issues to make a good coffee (including milk fluffing), and a lot of hands on practice. Youri is very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. He puts you at ease immediately and can handle any question thrown at him. I took a Barista course and was lucky enough to have one-on-one training with a very friendly and welcoming Youri. I am only a home enthusiast and it was great for me. Youri showed the enthusiasm for coffee you would hope for and really knows his beans. We went through Espresso and how small changes can effect the taste. Then we looked at frothing milk correctly using water and washing up liquid! Then we get to combining the too and creating latte art. Youri lets you get stuck in and try everything. Only issue now is that I know my home machine is not up to the job. I would highly recommend this course. I think as last resort after having run out of ideas for a Christmas present for me, my wife bought me a Barista training course with Youri. What a Christmas present it turned out to be! Having arrived a little late due to snow and traffic, to be greeted with warmth and a fabulous coffee told me I would be in for a great day. I wasn't disappointed. Youri was very encouraging, helpful and friendly, allowing vast amounts of practise. Although my latte art is clearly not up to Youri's standards, I feel confident that with a little more practise I will be able to impress friends and family with my new skills (I might even attempt the teddy bear!).The coffee tasted fabulous and will make going out for a coffee a tricky business for me now I know how it should/can be done.The only down side for me is knowing that I will now have to buy a new coffee machine as my ageing Krups is clearly nowhere near up to the mark. Thanks to Youri for a great day and opening my eyes to coffee at its best. I took the Barista training course after scoping out a few others. I definitely made the right choice. Fantastic fun. Outstandingly helpful !Youri puts you at ease as soon as you arrive with his warmth, and enthusiasm for coffee and and the culture.With a refreshing approach and wealth of information it's not long before you are making all thing coffee like a pro.
