I took a Latte Art course (after recieving it as a Christmas present). We found the whole session thoroughly informative and enjoyable. Youri's knowledge, expertise and sense of humour is oustanding. His instruction on producing a quality foam, to techniques for the different designs meant I left producing Latte Art far better than I expected to. My partner and I had a wonderful Valentine's Barista training session at Limini Coffee last Sunday in Halifax. Our trainer, Youri, was very friendly and taught us all about the coffee making process with infectious enthusiasm and good humour. After a very interesting talk-through on the lifecycle of coffee from the bean to the cup we got stuck in and started making our first espressos. Due to Youri's very clear instruction and explanation on what makes a great espresso, we were pulling great shots in no time at all, with all our handiwork captured on Youri's camera! Once Youri was happy that we had a good grasp of pulling consistent shots, we moved on to milk based drinks and were both delighted with the results we were getting. The day finished with us giving a good deal of time trying to perfect our Latte Art hearts...very appropriate for the day that was in it! We would thoroughly recommend the Barista training course to anyone who has an interest in learning how to make wonderful coffee.Thank you again, - Cian & Niamh

Youri is a fantastic trainer. He took time to explain not only how to pull the most rich, full bodied shots that I had ever produced from my Expobar machine, but the whole process including both growing and roasting the beans. The course was excellent value and Youri happily answered in great detail all the questions I threw at him filling in many of the holes in my coffee knowledge and offering an alternative opinion on others.I would fully recommend this course to other home baristas, like myself, as not matter how many books, web pages and blogs you're read they won't improve your technique as much as this course does. I have recently opened a coffee shop and after many a long hour searching on the internet for a coffee supplier, as I knew there would be numerous, Limini Coffee's website caught my eye.
