I recently attended a Barista training course. Youri is an exceptional man. What he doesn't know about coffee really isn't worth knowing. However, he freely admits that he tries to learn something every day. His teaching method is wonderful. He never talks down to you and puts your mind at ease. I am a novice at coffee making but was very quickly making good coffee and easy latte art. I would recommend this course to anyone and everyone. My fiance and I undertook a barista training course with Youri earlier this week and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Youri really knows his stuff and was able to get all the informaiton accross in such a way that we found it easy to learn, and above all we had a fun day out as well.Both of us left with a greater understanding of coffee and from went zero skills to the ability to make some pretty decent coffees :)+ Youri's a hunk! I've just returned from a thoroughly excellent Barista course with Youri of Limini Coffee.Overall, it was a most enjoyable and informative day.Youri's knowledge of coffee is exceptionally wide, and was shared at the correct level for his audience. His teaching style is informal but very effective.The course had just four participants, allowing everyone to get as much practice as they wanted, and to share ideas and learning.I had concerns about attending, as I am simply an enthusiastic amateur, and I expected other participants to have a more "professional" level of interest and knowledge. There are no words to describe the level of exellence Youri and the team offer in all sections of buisness. When i recieve coffee beans they are usually never more than a day old, freshly roasted, producing delicious and aromatic espresso every time. The Barista training day i went to with Youri was by far the most informative and well taught course i have ever been on. He was proffesional, funny and most importantly; passionate about seeing results. 10/10 Top grade service, definatly recommend coming to these guys for anything Coffee related. Youri, thank you so much for making the day so interesting and worthwhile. Never a dull moment. Youri is a fantastic mentor. He makes coffee-making easy and fun. I really could not ask for a better trainer, he demonstrates everything you ask him to with mucho gusto! His enthusiasm is so catching that when it is your turn to make one you feel it's as if you were born to do it. I feel a bit guilty for wasting a LOT of coffees during training but this doesn't faze Youri because for him practice makes perfect and that is what Limini Coffee is all about. It's a perfect coffee. I would definitely recommend Limini Coffee to anyone in a heart beat, the best coffee i've ever tasted in my 29 years of existence. I attended a barista course yesterday with Youri and what a fantastic learning experience it was. I was lucky enough to have a one to one session and i can honestly say it was the best training session i have ever attended (and i have been on many down the years!) I am a teacher by trade so i think i speak with some authority when i say Youri has an excellent teaching style, relaxed yet very informative and he really encourages you to get stuck in! I got to go on the Limini Coffee barista training course as a surprise birthday present and what a great surprise it was! Youri was just the best person to carry out the training; super knowledge about all the aspects of coffee and a great teacher! The course was a great mix of information and hands on experience, with a real emphasis on making coffee yourself. I came away knowing so much more and understanding how all the details come together to make a great coffee. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend going on this course! Thanks again Youri.... First, we want to say huge thanks to Youri for the training, which was well beyond our expectations. We had the best time and could have stayed there much longer. What Youri doesn't know about coffee isn't worth mentioning and he imparted a sizeable amount of his knowledge to us, which was so helpful. I also had no idea how one blend of coffee could taste so differently if teeny-tiny changes are made to the way it's prepared......which I think is one of the biggest lessons I learned on the day. The hands-on practical experience and Youri's laid-back attitude made the training a joy. We took lots of information away with us from this day and would heartily recommend this training to everyone. Don't even hesitate about booking!!!! I had an excellent day, drank the best coffee ever and finally mastered the art of making the perfect cappuccino. Youri is a brilliant barrister. The hands on training for our little group of four was spot on. I learned a lot about coffee from harvesting the berry's, roasting, packing and how to keep the coffee fresh, the perfect espresso grind, setting up the espresso machine, consistency and flavor, frothing the milk and then some latte art. I recommend the course to anyone who is passionate about coffee. If you have just bought yourself an espresso machine for home or if you are setting up a coffee shop you must go on this course. Well where do we start! Our training was second to none, we couldn't have asked for someone more knowledgeable, patient and relaxed than Youri. In our 2 days we learnt so much about coffee its unbelievable. We were taught on a one to one basis which meant the course was designed specifically for us and our needs. Our confidence levels are now through the roof because of Youri's training techniques! I would recommend this course to anyone, whether you are a home enthusiast or in the coffee business, i'm sure that you will gain everything that you need and more.Youri went over and above our expectations and we are very grateful for everything.
