Limini Coffee's barrister course exceeded expectations. My partner and I are in the process of launching our very own coffee van Drip Coffee, We attended and found the experience to be exceptionally personal, enjoyable, and highly informative. We took the 2 day coffee shop course and can't say enough good things about it! Vicki taught us so much and the discussions we had during the course have given us a lot of confidence and a lot to think about. We now have clarity going forward, and a clear plan and timeline. We had a 2:1 training session, and the whole experience was so informative! Youri was very pleasant and professional, and very encouraging. He took the time to teach everything that he could whilst always being extremely passionate, friendly and approachable, and we had a really good time learning from him! Not only did Youri train us how to make speciality coffee to high barista standards, but also showed us the roasting process and explained each process/journey from bean to cup - which was so much more than we expected. Every member of staff was so friendly and Youri is very knowledgeable, the whole experience was very motivating! We would definitely recommend this training course to everyone, we walked away feeling educated and confident in our abilities with coffee. The two days I spent with Vicki learning all about coffee and planning how to open my own coffee business were absolutely eye-opening and wonderful. Not only is she a very knowledgeable and fun teacher, she made me feel empowered to make decisions and take the leap to open my own business. We would just like to say a huge that you to Youri for the absolutely amazing training that we completed at Limini. We booked on for the 2 day ‘How to start a coffee shop' training after reading the great reviews. It was a long journey for us coming from South Wales but it was worth every mile! Youri and Vicki were so welcoming and had such a wealth of experience. Having decided to start our own coffee shop with no experience at all in the sector we needed some in depth knowledge which we certainly received. Lots of barista training which was a lot of fun, even with some not so impressive latte art… this did improve! We were able to roast our own beans and understand the process of this from start to finish. Youri also took us to his amazing coffee shop ‘Tamp & Steam' which is definitely coffee shop goals! The pack you receive is second to none and literally contains so much information which I am always regularly checking and updating myself with. The contact doesn't just stop when you leave the training session, with Youri and Vicki both available for ongoing support and regular check ins. We are so happy we chose Limini Coffee to help start us on our journey. We are still completing renovations at Gregory's Coffee House but at ease knowing that Limini are only at the end of an email. This training day was absolutely fantastic and Vicki was an incredible teacher!! We arrived not knowing much about coffee and have left with a lot of knowledge about coffee overall. This is including, but not limited to, the coffee roasting process, how to make different types of coffees using different methods, coaching on latte art and how to work with different coffee machines. There was also an in depth tour of the warehouse, how Limini roast their coffee beans and we were allowed to get hands on in the production process. We wanted to feel more confident working with coffee in a business environment and we left happily achieving all the goals we set together at the beginning of the course. Any questions we had at the beginning of the day have all been answered with demonstrations where it was possible! All the staff were so friendly and welcoming and we were given a very tasty lunch (and obviously as much coffee as we could drink.) The training course went above and beyond what we expected and I heavily recommended it and Vicki's coaching to anyone who wants to improve their coffee knowledge/coffee making skills. It has given me a newfound love of coffee and has inspired us to want to learn more (with Vicki's recommendations of good books and materials to learn from.) - Anna Price
